What are some of the reasons people take a retreats? For some individuals, it’s an opportunity to pull back from life and take stock in who they are and where they are going with their life. For others, it’s time to become inspired and listen to their “inner voice”.
Here are a few reasons you may want to consider “taking a retreat from life”:
- To find a new perspective which might allow you to re-energize a project or embark on a dream
- To become inspired which means to breathe life into something you want to accomplish
- To detox from both people and old ways of thinking which can allow you to makes changes in your life you know you should make but haven’t found the courage to do
- To remember who you are and to understand you are a mere mortal learning about life
- To find the time when you do return to your routine to make room in your schedule for you
Kristin takes us on the personal journey she made this summer to re-connect with herself and her family. She shares her insights and how she intends to apply what she learned to her life now that she is back home and into those old routines. I think everyone will be able to relate to this program today.
