Chris helps all of us understand how to take care of the issues that are being caused because of wearing a mask throughout a workday and washing our hands as often as we now do.
Face masks rub the nose area and chemicals in the masks often are irritating to the skin. Additionally, the combination of constant moisture being trapped behind the mask can create acne and other skin conditions.
Hand washing as frequently as we now do it can dry and crack sensitive skin so it’s important to wash with soaps that kill bacteria but have a less drying effect on our hands. Chris also explains that using a moisturizer after each washing will help restore the skin.
During this conversation, we discuss the importance of diet, getting plenty of rest and exercising for not only the body but also the mind. Getting out of the F.E.A.R. mentality is crucial for overall health and wellness and we can do it by simply being aware and practicing wellness principles.
