Wellness Plans: A Proactive Approach To Health with Carolyn Zinober

Carolyn has practiced esthetics for 25 years, aromatherapy for 16 years, massage therapy for 5 years and Chinese herbal medicine for 3 years.  Her focus is to help her clients see the connection between the mind-body and wellness.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) believes that humans are “microcosms of the larger Universe and are interconnected with nature and subject to its forces”.  Balance between health and disease is a key concept to learning how to stay in health.  TCM and using Chinese herbs can treat a number of issues including but not limited to arthritis, insomnia, stress, unresolved traumas, depression and chronic pain.

At Six Oaks Apothecary, Carolyn teaches her clients through one on one consultations and classes how the body works and heals itself through both herbs and the food we consume.  During the conversation between Carolyn and I, listeners will begin to understand how our thoughts, actions and environment all play a vital role in whether we have illness in our life or health.
