Stress is inevitable and sometimes it can rock us to our very core. What many people do not realize is how stress not only impacts our physical well-being, it can also take its toll on our appearance.
If a person is under constant stress, our skin can be negatively impacted. Recognizing that our skin is the largest organ in our body helps us to be aware that when we’re under continual stress, it may show up as Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea and Dermatitis.
Since our skin, hair and nails are not essential to our survival, our body prioritizes where to send nutrition. As a result, we begin to see skin problems, brittle nails and hair falling out. We may also be having other problems such as digestive issues, sleeplessness, and general irritability.
